CCTV News: On September 3, the International Forum on the Development of China's Automobile Industry opened. The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Commerce said that automobiles are the key products supporting the high-quality development of foreign trade. At present, the pattern of the global automobile industry is changing, and China's automobile exports are entering a period of rapid growth.

Meng Yue, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerce, said that in 2021, China's auto exports will reach 2015000 units, doubling compared with 10 years ago, and realizing leapfrog development. Since this year, China's automobile exports have grown rapidly, hitting a new high in the same period of history. Among them, new energy vehicles have led the export growth. From January to July this year, 295000 new energy vehicles were exported, accounting for 46.6% of the total. At the same time, China's own brand auto enterprises have accelerated their overseas layout. After years of technology accumulation and deep cultivation in the overseas market, some enterprises have begun to try to exchange technology and management for the local market, opening up a new path for the global development of China's auto enterprises. Next, the Ministry of Commerce will further deepen the opening up and promote the high-quality development of automobile trade.

Meng Yue, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerce: Make full use of China's automobile manufacturing technology and industrial supporting advantages, accelerate the construction of automobile foreign trade transformation and upgrading base, promote the agglomeration of industries and trade factors, and ensure the smooth operation of the industrial chain and supply chain.

China will also accelerate the implementation of the free trade zone strategy, facilitate the trade of automobile products, accelerate the signing of free trade agreements with key automobile exporting countries and regions, expand exports, and improve the market share and influence of China's automobiles.
